Alabama Governor Says Only Christians Are His 'Brothers And Sisters'

Gonna cut ol' boy a little slack here...lot­s of time those of us who profess some fealty to the Christian faith may refer to one another as brothers or sisters in Christ, as in a family of believers. And those who are non believers are seen as being outside that family of faith. Now I'm not being an apologist for the in-eloquen­t or exclusiona­ry way that these remarks sounded, but given this context, and that he did "try" to separate his religious conviction from his civic responsibi­lities, I don't think (as the headline begs) Alabama is careening towards a "Christian Sharia" state,
